If you're an Apple lover, you know three things to be true of the brand’s signature products: They're aesthetically pleasing, they work well and the price tags are nothing to sniff at. A brand new MacBook Air, for example, which we recently proclaimed the "best Macbook for most people," typically costs as much as $1,000. Right now, however, you can get a 13-inch model for just $899.99 while supplies last.

Down $99 from its original price of $999, this computer's 10% markdown isn't exactly cheap, but it does match the lowest price we’ve seen on this product. This machine also boasts 8 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of SSD storage, so you’ll be getting plenty of top-notch specs for your buck.
As the most recent MacBook Air in Apple's lineup, we tested this model when it first came out and were impressed with what it had to offer. In addition to its classic look and improved keyboard (it’s simpler and more reliable than the previous version), our tester adored this upgraded laptop's long battery life, which ran for a healthy seven hours and 45 minutes. Its four-core i7 processor also easily handled heftier workloads than the i3 level processor, which is a base level piece for MacBook Airs (in testing, it worked a bit slower than the i7). At its core, we found the new MacBook Air to be a great investment for an everyday laptop that could conquer the daily tasks required of users both professionally and personally.
More showy features consist of a high-resolution Retina display, Touch ID (passwords be gone!) and an improved camera and speaker, which allows for 25% more volume and two times the bass. Its three-microphone array also serves to provide better audio on Zoom meetings and FaceTime catch-ups, making it a quality purchase for both work and play.
If you're looking for even greater upgrades, check out the 13-inch MacBook Air in gold for $1,199 (a $100 markdown from $1,299), which also comes with 8 gigabytes of RAM but features double the SSD storage (512 gigabytes). Either way you go, you'll be getting these machines for a steal. They are selling quick, however, so you'll won't want to ponder your purchase for too long.
